Christal Brown-Gibson
-The Lord's Psalmist-

A noted songwriter, Psalmist and musician, Christal Brown-Gibson was born in Charleston, South Carolina in 1971. Because of The Lord's favor, Christal has walked through many doors of blessings including appearing on Bobby Jones Gospel in Nashville, Tennessee; singing on the stage of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida and being named "Female Gospel Vocalist of The Year" by Newsome Awards in Baltimore, MD (2006).

A Born-again Child of God, Christal grew up on Johns Island in Cedar Spring Baptist Church, where she was under the constant spiritual care of her mother, Ms. Helen G. Middleton, of Johns Island. Her music career began at age six when she sang her first solo in front of the congregation. By the age of twelve, Christal was a musician for a church choir on Johns Island.

Always seeking for ways to perfect her gifts for The Kingdom, Christal has attended Berkeley College of Music Gospel Seminar in Boston, Massachusetts, Gospel Heritage Praise and Worship Conferences in D.C. and Atlanta. Often serving as a facilitator herself, Brown-Gibson has conducted workshops on Music Ministry throughout the state.
